Defective Products

You expect the products you use to be safe. Designed, manufactured and sold by companies who have only your safety as there primary concern. Further, if there is a way in which the product might become unsafe through foreseeable use we expect to be warned of that danger.

Unfortunately not all products are safe and not all designers, manufacturers and distributers of products live up to these expectations and the standards imposed by California and Federal product safety laws. Daigneault, Abel and Daigneault California Products Liability Attorneys are passionate about representing individuals (and their families).

There are three ways a product may be found defective:

  1. A design flaw or defect when the product was designed with a defect that makes the entire line dangerous even if the manufacturing and assembly was flawless.
  2. A manufacturing flaw or defect when a safely designed product becomes dangerous because the manufacturer failed to make the product in accordance with the plans and specifications.
  3. Inadequate warnings or instructions that do not give clear warnings or instructions regarding the use of the product.
